Résumé de l'éditeur

When hinges creak in doorless chambers... and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls... whenever candlelights flicker... where the air is deathly still... that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight....

WELCOME, FOOLISH MORTALS, to The Haunted Mansion, one of the most popular attractions in the history of Disney theme parks. The Haunted Mansion : From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies fleshes out how the Mansion's 999 grim grinning ghosts were brought to life. Rare early concept sketches, never-before-published original story synopses, and stunning architectural drawings illustrate the Mansion's evolution as it was constructed at each Magic Kingdom Park around the globe. Never before has The Walt Disney Company revealed so much history, debunked so much mystery, and told the true "behind-the-screams" tale of the global, ghostly Haunted Mansions.

With such rich source material and a permanent place in pop culture, The Haunted Mansion was a natural for the big screen. The Haunted Mansion - starring Eddie Murphy, with special makeup effects by Rick Baker - brings the attraction's beloved characters and signature settings to an afterlife like never before. Get an insider's view of uncanny costume creations, spine-tingling set developments, spook-tacular story enhancements, and the latest computer-generated technologies. This is one book you'll simply be dying to have on your shelf !
